\$\begingroup\$ @Mazu My comment was intended as a joke. Many GMs have a knee-jerk reaction to newer material, and raise some complaint about "game balance", but they seem to forget about the raw power and game-breaking potential of core casters. If you want to stay Psychic but the GM still won't let you use Cunning Caster, then they should at least let you swap it for a different feat. \$\endgroup\$ – MikeQ Mar 25 '18 at 23:46
Thought components are so mentally demanding that they make interruptions and distractions extremely challenging. The DC for any concentration check for a spell with a thought component increases by 10. A psychic spellcaster casting a spell with a thought component can take a move action before beginning to cast the spell to center herself; she can then use the normal DC instead of the increased DC.

Take the piece of crystal and hold it to your forehead, and visualize your third eye opening when you do. Picture the crystal as a magnet, pulling in energy for you. Set the stone back down and draw an eye on your forehead in the same place with the purple ink (need I say it should be a washable product?). Let the ink dry, and continue your visualizing to open up that eye. Hold the moonstone to the eye you drew, and repeat several times:

Ms. Lassez's first taste of the paranormal came a decade ago on location for a film in Detroit, when -- on a whim -- she dropped in on a tarot reader to get her mind off a breakup and an argument on the set. The psychic spread out 10 cards on the kitchen table in a Celtic cross, a standard tarot pattern. The 10th card, which supposedly augurs the subject's future, was the Star. To any young actress the meaning would be clear. By the time she left Detroit, she had her own tarot deck.
